Putin: Russia Ready to Cooperate with US, Anyone president
After conducting a two-day meeting with the leaders of Europe and the world, Russian President Vladimir Putin stated that Russia is ready to cooperate with whoever is elected president of the United States."We will judge based his actions and not the words of the President of the United States and will be looking for ways to ease tensions and improve cooperation in economy and international security," he said in a meeting with the media on Friday (17/06/2016) local time ,
Putin spent two days in his hometown of St. Petersburg to host the presidents of the European Committee, the Prime Minister of Italy and officials of various international companies.
At the end of this week, the Russians want to convey that the EU and US sanctions imposed on Russia over the annexation of the Crimea in 2014 and their intervention in eastern Ukraine is futile.
